In this section I would like to give a defense to the infallibility of the bible and to also cover the common objections to the bible being the Word of God. One of the most common objections is that the bible is full of contradictions. The amount of times I have heard this argument it’s not funny anymore and becomes quite frustrating especially when I show there is no contradiction then the skeptic just moves onto another supposed contradiction. I will cover the most popular alleged contradictions and will also write a little on why God may have inspired the biblical writers to include alleged contradictions and I will cover why contradictions seem to be contradictions and the reason why skeptics find comfort in their alleged contradictions. Another issue I will cover is how the bible was canonized; this seems to be an issue with the new skeptics. The common consensus is that the bible was put together and decided as scripture at the Council of Nicaea; this cannot be further from the truth. There is another issue that needs to be addressed and it is the variations in all the manuscripts we have of the New Testament.
